Congratulations to Kevin McGrath who played his 100th club game for the mighty Kalamunda Cougars at Ray Owen reserve.
A truly determined player who shows great courage, resolve displaying strong character by bringing the right mindset week in, week out. An absolute tackling machine and beast in the midfield, his aggressive approach stands up in key moments in games and he shows great leadership and willpower.
A tireless worker and has been a very consistent player at league and reserves level for a number of years now. His ability to crash and bash through congestion in the midfield is top notch and can also sneak forward and snap a goal from the tightest of angles.
Has not had much luck in finals so far in his career, but I feel like all that is about to change. Last year he played well in his first finals game win and I have no doubt he will build on this and be one of the main players who drives the club to success in the years to come. Well done ‘Kevy’ on your achievements, kick a few more clutch goals and celebrate these with a win!!
Congratulations to Mitch Della who ran out in his 50th club game for the mighty Kalamunda Cougars at Ray Owen reserve.
Also to note, in a few short weeks will become the 7th player in club history to play 50 colts games too.
A great leader who sets the standard and always doing what’s best for the team and club. A general in the backline who creates with his run off half back, can also sneak forward and snag a few goals. A premiership player in his first two seasons at the club, including captaining the team in 2022 and has continued on as captain again this year.
An exciting player to watch who has a tremendous future at the club and is a beloved member of the Cougars community. Well done Della on your achievement and go well in the future!
Congratulations also to Giacomo Paduano who lined up to play his 50th club game for the mighty Kalamunda Cougars against Wembley for the reserves team at Ray Owen reserve.
An incredibly talented player with sublime foot skills on both feet and great footy nous has him a step ahead of his opponent. Has proven to be a big game player and consistent performer in his short time at the club. A best & fairest award in a premiership year in 2020, a best on ground accolade in the 2021 grand final triumph and a best on ground performance in the 2020 Cougar cup (Kalamunda vs Carlisle).
Well done Mo, you’ve achieved a lot in such a short time, 50 great games and plenty more to come. Go well mate!
Thanks again to Don Benson photography for the amazing photos!
