Betrayed!
The word ‘betrayal’ rang out in the House,
Regarding the ‘Integrity Bill’,
Pauline had voted to side with the unions,
And this was a bitter pill,
Because the government had thought that she,
Would, prevent an imminent spill.
Now the surprising defeat of the Integrity Bill,
Has cast a shadow over reform,
With the result that’s hurting the PM,
Who will be feeling forlorn,
As he’s been hoodwinked again by Pauline,
And outfoxed by the union pawns!
Now the worry we have as a nation,
Is that decisions for IR are found,
As the game of insider politics,
Keeps doing it’s awful round;
Betraying One Nations core reasons,
And the battlers to who they are bound!
