A visit to China
Donald stepped down from the Presidential plane,
The smirk on his face acknowledging his fame,
As he shook the hand of Xi who came,
To welcome the American, most people say insane!
‘I’m making America Great Again!
Cried Donald again in loud refrain,
But the President knew this promise was lame,
As the result of his sanctions were truly tame,
And his deeds had set the World aflame!
It was the case that President Xi knew,
Donald claimed friends, but they were few,
Vladimir, Albo and Kim Jong to,
While the only others, he could claim as new,
Were, living in the Washington zoo!
Why this strange summit had taken place,
Was it a deal to save some face?
Or check Taiwan in the great arms race,
and show the World they could act with grace,
Or simply a diplomatic waste of space!
