HFA Round 17, 2024 Pickering Brook V’s Bullsbrook
In round 16 the Hawks took on Bullsbrook at Pickering Brook in Riley Thompsons 150th game last Sunday proving they were still the favored team to win their second premiership this season, despite sitting in 2nd position on the HFA ladder.
The Hawks completely outclassed the Roo’s for the 4 quarters winning by 159 points 22.17 to 3.2.
Not a great deal can be said about this game as the scores indicate, however Mick Brescacin continued on his merry way kicking another bag of 8 goals with Riley Thompson in his 150th scoring 4 with Kyle Ajduk who also added 4.
Veteran Mitch Shilling was awarded the best player for the Hawks with former Cougar Jayden Kegg and Kyle Ajduk in the votes. The season is now entering the ‘pointy end’ and hopefully we can look forward to some closer contests in the coming rounds.
We missed congratulating Tim McQuoid on his 150th recently. Here he is being carried off by Riley Thompson and Mitch Shilling key veterans of the Pickering Brook Hawks.
