HFA Round 16, Pickering Brook V’s Mundaring at George Sprigs Reserve
This round was the last one before the finals and had put pressure on ‘Jonny’ Armstrong who had been injured to kick two goals to reach the magic 100 for the season.
A hard leading full forward, Armstrong has dominated the goal scoring this season his second for the Hawks.
The Hawks who are sitting on the top of the HFA ladder were favoured to win this game and help Armstrong achieve his milestone.
Pickering brook were in front throughout this match, playing a confident run-on style of football generated by their two-star rovers Steve Caccetta and Brad Jetta. John Kicked the two remaining goals for his 100 in the first quarter and went on to kick another for the match.
