HFA Round 14, Tim McQuoid 200 Games …
We wish to congratulate Tim McQuoid who played his 200th for the Pickering Brook Hawks last Sunday against Mt Helena.
Tim has been a consistent member of the Hawks since joining the club in 2011.
His quiet unassuming manner and his willingness to support his teammates has made him a champion and one of the first players his coaches over the seasons would pick to play.
Tim joins Mitch Shilling who recently played his 200 for the club, both players will soon be joined by Riley Thompson who plays his 200th game.
Tim, Mitch and Riley, along with Logan Anthony, Harrison Leeder and Steve Caccetta joined the Club after playing junior football for Mazenod College around the same time.
Logan and Harrison have since retired however the Hawks still benefit from the skills of the four great ‘veterans’ still playing. These members will be very hard to replace when they ‘hang up their boots’.
We wish them well for the future and have no doubt their names will appear again in the near future, on the clubs Honor Boards.
