‘The legion of plagues’
Now we’ve joined the legion of plagues, that have been around forever,
As again our prophets and politicians, have failed to act together,
And so, we have an awful problem, ‘The Pandemic’ we have to weather,
As our lock-downs, needles, masks and vaccines, will be needed now forever!
Our quarantine hold in hotel rooms is now completely broken,
As the Reaper has slipped silently past, and to his victims has spoken,
That there been deceived, by political beings, whose words were only tokens,
So now is their pleasure to infect by our leisure, as our defences are totally broken!
Once again, we see a political system where politicians take their ease,
Blaming each other for vaccine cover, a position that makes us grieve,
As the majority of aged and disabled, are left in the cold to freeze,
While talking of reforming the quarantine system, to be put in the bush if you please!
