My ‘Auntie Annie’
She’s always rather comforting,
When I’m frightened or scared,
And more entertaining,
If I’m ever bored.
I love my Auntie Annie,
She enjoys a good long hug,
She’s very cool,
And has her picture, painted on my mug!
I love my Auntie Annie,
She gives me kisses as well,
These are always very sweet,
But they do make me dwell,
Because she’s a little overweight,
And needs long walks as well,
And when someone’s at the door,
She will talk and tell!
I love my Auntie Annie,
Many babies she has had,
She never has been married,
And you may think that’s bad,
But the thing about Auntie Annie,
She can sleep like a log,
But the real Auntie Annie,
Is a plump sausage dog!
