Chantell Myburg 50 games for the Cougars …

Alex Haight, Reporting

Congratulations to Chanelle Myburgh who played her 50th game for the Kalamunda Cougars in round 9 season 2025 when the women’s team played the Forrestdale Falcons at the William Street Oval.

Chantelle is an explosive and powerful midfielder who is often seen bursting through stoppages at high speed. She is a great runner who takes the game on and a real competitor who wears her heart on her sleeve with a strong desire to win.

Chantelle won the Kerryn Armstrong-Jones medal (women’s best and fairest) in her first year in 2022 and last year was placed third in the association with a total of 17 votes.

This year she earned an opportunity with the Perth Demons and made her debut in the WAFLW a few weeks ago. A great reward for all the hard work and dedication she puts in.

‘Catch me if you can’

Well done Channy on everything you have achieved to date thus far and I’m sure there is plenty more to come in the future. Have many more great games and continue to win for the Cougars!!

Thank you to Don Benson photography for the great photos.
