Round 16, Two more Milestones in 2025

Alex Haight, Reporting

Congratulations go to Callum Harris who played his 100th game for the Kalamunda Cougars against the Wanneroo Kangaroos in round 16, 2025 at Edgar Griffiths Park in Wanneroo.

Short in stature but don’t let that fool you, this player is as tough as they come and is all heart!

Callum  fights and scraps till the end every week and buries opponents into the ground twice his size with some crunching tackles. He plays with no fear putting his body through the wars but keeps getting up and, soldiering on.  He was the winner of the 4ths best and fairest in 2022 and sure to poll highly again this year and has been nominated for The Most Courageous award in five of the six seasons he has played.

Well done Cal, takes real guts to put your body on the line in the way that you do each week and enjoy your time with the Cougars.

Congratulations also to Tora Idland who played her 50th game for the Kalamunda Cougars against the Cockburn Cobras in round 16, 2025 at the home of football, Ray Owen reserve.

Tora in action …

Tora is a skillful player who is tough in the contest and strong over the ball, bringing second and third efforts regularly to win the ball for her team.

She is a great personality who strives to get the best out of herself and her teammates.

Tora is dangerous across half forward, often involved in plays resulting in scores and is a key member of the women’s group.

Well done Tora, have many great games with the ladies and bring that ferocious intensity from the get go to win!

Thank you to Don Benson photography for the great photos
